As Michigan defers most of OOS based on comments here. Prepared my daughter for this beforehand.

Ugh I have to wait until I get home!! Looks like lots of deferrals though. Wish they would just learn to make decisions!

Congrats to all who got in. No offense intended in any way, but it is really surprising to see some of the stats/other info about who got in and who got postponed/deferred and try to make sense of any of it! I understand the whole holistic review process but it is fascinating to see how it plays out when reading all of these stats and stories.

Deferred : ( Does anyone know how to write the ECI? Like what should I be including in it? Is it supposed to be like a formal essay or like a 1-2 paragraphs of new updates.

How do people know those dates in feb and march that deferred students might hear? I don’t see it on the UM website. Tx.
What did the letter say to do?
It’s apparently based on previous years. They have had a Feb, March and Apr release.

My daughter was postponed. No shock after reading here the past few weeks.

My guess is that she will withdraw her application. She’s accepted elsewhere and has some great options ahead to choose from.
