Congrats! Where in MD are you from and what high school?
OOS and I assume COE.
According to UM:
The Chief Advantage of Early Action
Early Action provides you with a guaranteed decision date. For many students, this enables better planning.

I am slightly confused about majors. I applied for cellular and molecular biomedical science, which is a 5-year program between LSA and CoE but by decision didnât reference it at all? Doesnât seem to be very popular that Iâve seen.
I think Financial Aid offers will come out next month.
CuriousâŠDid anyone hear back from the scholarship committee regarding the Stamps Scholarship? My DD has not received any emails about it.
Sorry, I need to get off this chat. But how can you go from 4.0 to 5.2 with only 5 APs.
That could only be a 4.2 weighted.
My son was accepted!

âWe need additional time to review your credentials and determine how your strengths and academic achievements would fit with the composition and quality of this yearâs freshman applicant pool.â
What does âwe need additional timeâ mean. Have they reviewed each EA applicant or not.
They want to compare the EA applicant to the RD pool in balance with any withdrawals from accepted/Postponed applicants. At least, thatâs how I interpret it.
I also got deferred (oos international), and they gave me a form at the left-hand side column.
congrats
