Congrats! Where in MD are you from and what high school?

OOS and I assume COE.

According to UM:

)
national recognition scholar
a few clubs
demonstrated interest
decent ECs

I am slightly confused about majors. I applied for cellular and molecular biomedical science, which is a 5-year program between LSA and CoE but by decision didn’t reference it at all? Doesn’t seem to be very popular that I’ve seen.

I think Financial Aid offers will come out next month.

Curious
Did anyone hear back from the scholarship committee regarding the Stamps Scholarship? My DD has not received any emails about it.

Sorry, I need to get off this chat. But how can you go from 4.0 to 5.2 with only 5 APs.

That could only be a 4.2 weighted.

My son was accepted!

4.0 UW
35 ACT
in-state
Engineering

“We need additional time to review your credentials and determine how your strengths and academic achievements would fit with the composition and quality of this year’s freshman applicant pool.”

What does “we need additional time” mean. Have they reviewed each EA applicant or not.

They want to compare the EA applicant to the RD pool in balance with any withdrawals from accepted/Postponed applicants. At least, that’s how I interpret it.

Daughter was accepted to Stamps. Posted stats. Good luck with your kid - don’t give up hope. I know it’s not an easy process - we were on the waitlist with my son 2 years ago at UM COE.
