My son has very high stats and was accepted EA OOS to UM. My other child had similar stats and attends a top Ivy so I don’t think they deferred the high ranking kids. My sons school had 36 applicants and 3 were accepted EA.
Thanks! Our school does not use Naviance. Would love to see the information! Our district now uses Infinite Campus.
That’s interesting. Maybe I just overestimated my chances of getting in: something I’ve done a few times recently given how crazy college admissions are this year.
Congratulations to your son!
Good one. I’ll ask my kid to make a tiktok and send to the Ross BBA adcom.
Finally, Michigan’s 2021-2022 CDS has been published.
Ooffa! 1% admitted from waitlist. Wow that’s low.
I got an email that I need to submit my CSS profile. The email says to upload it in the “Direct Document Upload in Wolverine Access”.
I can’t find it. Do you know where it is?
What does it mean when they say that the wait list is not ranked?
I don’t think you need to submit the CSS as an upload (though maybe someone else further along can chime in). When we looked in Wolverine access, it just listed what was still needed (the CSS). It also noted they had received the FAFSA.
I question the value of maintaining such a large waitlist. It’s basically a soft reject for the overwhelming majority of those offered a place on the list.
On the CSS profile, you can add schools you want to submit to and it automatically sends it, you don’t have to upload!

Congrats. How does that overall number and the accepted number compare on Naviance to historical years?
So, 20% admit and 22% put on wait list. (Obviously, 58% rejected)
where can I see my school’s data on naviance?
Go to your college list. Click on college X. Then look for scattergram information.
Caveat: Naviance data is self reported so it’s likely not complete and could have inaccuracies. Typically rejections and wait list outcomes are under-reported.
So not totally reliable, but gives you a rough idea of how your applicant stacks up against other applicants from your school.
How are you all accessing prior year data on Naviance? My S22’s school shows data from fall 2021. OOS CA school - 22% admit rate, ~30% WL.
But, I can’t see this cycle’s data or fall 2020 data.
Perhaps your school adopted Naviance just last year, so there’s no prior data? Although, I would expect to see this year’s data.
Our school has data for the past 5 years including the current cycle. We don’t have to do anything special, it’s all in one place.
Super interesting !
Thanks
The m/f breakdown at 45/55 and the difference in admissions rates in unexpected !
