FWIW, I pulled fifteen (15) EA acceptances from the Class of 2025 EA thread here on CC, all OOS and with both uwGPA and test scores listed:

Average uwGPA = 3.97
Average SAT = 1,545 (10)
Average ACT = 35.25 (5)

Post #'s ranged from #2546 to #2,831, which is when I lost interest. Way up thread, I mentioned to check last year’s thread for the best info on who’s accepted and who’s deferred. The stats are mostly there, but a bunch didn’t list their #'s.

There were several 4.0’s/1,600’s/36’s posted. All LSA and CoE, but one Kinesiology acceptance, which is Post #2590. That Kinesiology applicant had a test score of 1,430, the only 1,400-1,499 score in my very small sample.

This is from my post #759. LSA represents the majority of these stats. I didn’t tally deferrals. But I can do another “deferral” sample, later, maybe tomorrow.

Hey all! I’ve been looking, but I haven’t seen any thread for Umich yet! I’m a rising senior and planning to apply ea to umich, so here’s a thread to use. I’m also from mi, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

They onced used deferred but now used postponed. If not accepted in EA then you are postponed if not denied (which used to be rejected…)

Almost Perfect GPA(weighted 5) and ACT, National and International awards, 4 Varsity sports, lots of leadership and service awards including President’s Gold award and an All American athlete. The kid had eyes set on Harvard but didn’t make it. Got several offers from other top 25 Universities. UMich gave 20k/year merit scholarship so chose UMich. We didn’t qualify for any need based aid. Got in Early Action. We are OOS

Loves Loves Loves UMich, wouldn’t dream of going to another school. Thanks their star for not getting into Harvard. I know that everyone says it but you’ll end up where you are supposed to be.

Many perfect stats kid get in and many more don’t make it. I think essays and rigor matter a lot for UMich, my kid poured their heart out for why Umich and something clicked.
