UMICH or MSU

I've been accepted to both schools for fall 2011. I'm pretty sure that I want to go into the business field and I know that UMICH has a great business school, but I know it's very competitive and if I don't get in I'm out of luck. MSU on the other hand isn't that bad of a school and also has a good business school without all the competition. By competition, I mean the difficulty of admittance.

I know that the business world runs on elitism so I know UMICH would be an excellent choice for most of the possible career paths, but I don't think I would be interested in any other major there if I don't get into the business school. I just don't know if I should take that risk.

MSU has an excellent business school and is highly respected in the industry. You cannot go wrong with either one.

Business is prestige driven. It is well worth the risk to go to Michigan. Face it, if you want to suceed in business, it’s all about competition.

If you want to go into finance, definitely shoot for UMich. If you want to do something else like supply chain, MSU would be better.
