If you accepted an interview invitation, have you been contacted by an interviewer yet?
I really wish they had an interview option for LS&A
The deadline for registering for the HAIL interview was Monday 11/7 and Tuesday 11/8 (today) is Election Day so I don’t think anyone is working today so we probably wont hear anything by tomorrow at best.
UPDATE: Just received my confirmation for HAIL
"Hi APLennox,
Thank you for signing up for the HAIL program! We have received your registration, and will soon match you with a Michigan Engineering alum for an interview."
and received a link for a student guide
http://apps.engin.umich.edu/hail/studentguide
Received HAIL interview confirmation today as well.
@MedSciBud PM me! Im getting concerned as well.
@edegops PM me, still confused
@IvyBred - what are you concerned about?
I received an email either yesterday or the day before confirming I’m being considered for Early Action–anyone else get this?
@pinkdog13 - I did not get an email but my Wolverine access changed from “EA requested” to “EA qualified”
@MedSciBud where does it tell you that? I’m on wolverine access but can’t see that.
@JPGator98 - click on “Application Status”, then “View Application data”, then scroll down to “Other Information” section. Mine shows “New Freshman” “Early Action Qualified”…
Does anyone have their U of M determined residency in yet? My self reported residency is in state and the U of M one has been blank for the last week or so.
@APlennox - for me - both have shown OOS since the day I got portal access
I’m an international applicant!
Received ‘qualified for EA’ mail yesterday!
@Littlebitanxious When did you apply? My application still says “Early Action - Requested”
So what does it mean if it still says requested? What do they look at to see if you are “qualified” for EA?
Early Action - Requested just means they have not yet gotten around to looking at your application to see if all required materials were in before November 1. Note: even if the date listed for receipt of certain items in the system - like SAT scores - is beyond November 1, what is checked is whether those items were received by the university before November 1. If all items were sent in before Nov. 1, your status will change to qualified for EA in due course.
@Axonta You rock!
does anyone know how heavily legacy is considered? both my parents graduated from umich and its my dream school
