Hello,

I have been accepted into University of Nebraska, however I'm out of state.
University of Missouri Kansas City would be instate fees for me, but I have not applied there and not sure if I should. The majors I wish to obtain are Computer Science and Physics (computational).. Besides the payment factor, can someone tell me why I should choose UMKC over UNL? And Nebraska's UCARE program really has my attention, I want to do some researching.

Apply to both. Visit both. Read through the websites and get to know what is offered for your major, then email the departments and ask any questions you have. Talk with your family about paying for college so that you know whether youcan afford either of these.

I kind of want to hear from an employer in the industry, what school would you prefer? In regards to the degree rather then the portfolio I’m already building up for myself (Computer Science, and I also will major in physics for computational purposes)

Rewrite your post to ask that specific question, and title it something like “UNL or UM-KC for Comp Sci?” then repost it in the Parents Forum. Your chance pod finding someone who is an employer is better there.

It also is OK to ask the career center at each university about job placement for your major.
