Congrats! That’s awesome
congrats. Could you share your student’s stats?
anyone in-state get any merit so far?
Thank you. No hooks. 3.98/4.5, 1560, NMSF
Anyone hear back yet who applied 11/1 to CBS? (Technically applied 10/31 but website says 11/1.)
My son applied to CSE on 10/30 (web site says 11/1) and is also still waiting. I would guess that they probably have a lot of applications that come in right around the EA deadline and it may slow down the process.
My OOS DS applied to CFANS on 10/31 and got accepted Mon 11/14 (thanks to all on this forum who were very helpful :-). He did quickly follow up on portal setup and entering self-reported grades & test scores (SRAR). Got confirmation that all was in place by 11/3 (possibly 11/4). I wouldn’t be at all surprised that CBS and/or CSE would have a higher number of apps to review than CFANS.
Stats for my OOS DS: 4.0/4.7, 1570, 5 APs taken (scored 5 on all of them), 6 AP classes in progress this year.
S23 accepted to CSE today 11/21 (applied 10/30).
OOS, 3.97 UW (school does not do weighted)
1460 (680 E, 780 M), 3 APs taken (5), 5 more APs in progress
Congratulations!
Still waiting to hear back and all materials marked received 10/30.
Do notifications of admission only get sent on Mondays?
Congratulations!!!
Yes, applied CBS on 10/31 and received acceptance notification today via email to check portal. Good luck!
Do we think there will be more updates today? Do they release them every Monday?
Heard they sent out In-State merit scholarship letters before Thanksgiving day, did anybody in this forum get anything?
Congrats! Is it per year or over 4 years?
Have not heard anything. Submitted around 10/30.
Not in state, but my D23 was accepted mid-Sept and has not received anything about merit yet.
No decision yet for my son. OOS - New York. Applied 9/14. Good luck!
Are merit offers sent in email / portal, postal mail, or both?
PER YEAR! Absolutely shocked. UMN would now be less expensive than our two state flagships.
