Those of you who have received your transfer credit report, about what time of day did you get it?
I got mine around 8 am on the 13th, and an email followed soon after (10 am) with the report. I’m an in state student if that makes any difference. @Daisy423
@alliezannino It says on the summer school website that FA is available but since its considered a semester prior to enrollment you have to send last years FAFSA and tell admissions you wan to register for the summer. On my CC right now it says $0.00 because I’m not authorized for summer.
@Daisy423 I got my transfer credit report in the afternoon (around 3:30ish?) on Monday, however, it wasn’t completed until yesterday afternoon around 12
Just received my financial aid and I am very fortunate to receive the Carolina Covenant Scholarship!
@kemobk that’s so great! Congrats
@AwkwardNewYorker thanks! which part of NY are you from? Im from brooklyn
@kemobk I’m from Brooklyn too, that’s where my dad lives. I live in queens now but always go to Brooklyn for grand army plazas library. Also looking forward to prospect parks food truck festival, if they’re doing it again this year
@AwkwardNewYorker Nice! Pm me if you can I was gonna ask you a few questions but I dont wanna flood this thread.
Hi guys. Just a quick question: if I were to have less than 30 transferred credit hours, I will be counted as a first-year transfer right? Will that mean that I’ll be able to do full 4 years of undergraduate study in UNC (if for instance, I have 28 credit hours transferred to UNC upon arrival)?
@aymanroslend I’d guess that they count you as a sophomore when you start. Either way, taking a 9th and 10th semester seems to be pretty easy as a transfer.
@butfirstcoffee How many transfer credit requests did you make? How many were accepted? I put in like 6 right now, because they transferred lots of my credits into classes that do not count towards the GE. I am praying that they get approved. If all my credits get approved, then I will need to only take one semester–which should have been the case from the beginning–to finish my GE.
Do I understand it correctly, that we need to take 120 hours to graduate and 90 hours have to be CAS?
Yes, that’s correct. @Vincent1997
Also, if anyone is looking for a male roommate for the Fall just let me know. I’d like to find a roommate and get my housing application in at the same time. I posted on the Facebook group about a week back and got one person who messaged me. If interested just private message me and we’ll go from there.
Anyone still not have their transfer credit reports? My AP credits seem to be in however
@bgtyhnmjuiko I don’t have mine yet. I called four times on Monday seeing if someone can just confirm one math class for me so I could register for two classes I need. They kept connecting me to people who weren’t at they desk so I left four voicemails for different people
@bgtyhnmjuiko still don’t have mine either.
Did anyone go to the admitted transfer student session on the 19th? I am thinking about going to one in the future.
@HSstudentNC I’m going to the one on May 3rd!
