Anyone else here applying to UNC for fall 2005?

Cool, what is your situation (in/out of state, soph/junior, etc)?

I found buried deep in the collegeconfidential (old) forums some guy from NC that said he had talked to admissions officers and they said they only seriously consider > 3.0 and 3.3 and above is competitive. I know for a fact that there is no quota on transfers so OOS people dont have to worry about getting beat out by instaters...

I really hope that the 3.0 thing is correct as I am applying to all three points of the triangle and want to get into UNC almost as much as Duke. I know my chances for Duke are marginal but things can happen.

Hey toph, do you plan on sending a letter of recommendation even though they don't ask for one? I will definetely do so as long as I can be confident that they won't get angry that I am not following the "rules." Also do you have an AIM name that we could chat on?
