But how can I find about my financial aid or scholarship?

OOS D was deferred EA, then waitlisted. 35 ACT, 4.58 weighted GPA (3.99 UW). Senior Class President and many ECs. Congrats to all who got in!

Rejected.

Just wanted to say though i haven’t been an active participant, i have been following this thread for a while. Just wanted to wish everyone good luck for their future endeavours, and i wish you all the very best  Goodbye!

OOS accepted with 35 ACT and 3.8 uw gpa- congrats to all accepted and the best of luck to all others

Is it just me or does it seem like there’s a trend for students who scored a 34 on the ACT to be waitlisted…?

hey this might be a dumb question but does anyone know if the transfer acceptance rate is different for OOS students from in-state students? I’m thinking of applying as a transfer to UNC if and only if I do not like the school I go to next year (which I doubt would be the case, but who knows).

Seems like most OOS were rejected :frowning: Congrats to all who were accepted! UNC CH is a really good institution

Rejected-International Student

International Students - Accepted.

But how can I find about my financial aid or scholarship?

Same question - when are the financial aid packages coming out? :stuck_out_tongue:

Is it harder to get into Duke OOS or UNC OOS?

@brendauo101 As a private institution, Duke doesn’t give as much weight to residency. Duke puts more weight on whether you apply binding ED. Duke tends to take half of its class from the ED pool, resulting in about 25% acceptance from ED and only about 9% from RD.

Getting into UNC as an OOS student is very tough. Somebody posted overall acceptance data earlier in the thread.
