unc, nc state, or ecu... NEED UR HELP

i am a junior with about a 3.0 gpa
i take the most rigurous classes honors and ap
got 1440 on the sat

what are my chances to get inot unc, nc state, or ecu

I really want to get into unc or either nc state

i need ur guys ideas and help..... improvments and stuff

If that’s a 1440 out of 2400, I’d say you have no chance at UNC and State, and ECU would be a slight reach.

If it’s 1440 out of 1600, none of them are impossible, although you would need to bring your GPA up.

trying my best bout to take the sat over again next month

what sat score do u think i would need?

NC State: 1700-1800+

UNC: 1900-2000+

that’s not what college board told me…

 1. Don’t ask for advice if you’re going to argue with it.

College Board acquires its data from the Common Data Sets, which only have statistics for enrolled students. Enrolled student stats are almost always lower than admitted student stats.

Your GPA is extremely low, and your SAT score needs to be about as high as you can get it.

Let’s take an example from the collegeboard:

UNC

25th Percentile: 1780
75th Percentile: 2080

IBclass06 told you 1900+ because those in the 25th percentile are likely recruited athletes or similarly “hooked” applicants who are held to lower standards. The lower your rank and the less impressive your essays and EC’s, the higher your SAT needs to be.

I’m assuming you’re instate, so what’s your weighted GPA and rank? Not that they will matter much.
