Is it easy to declare a biology major at Virginia Tech. I just got accepted as an undeclared major, but I tend to like science. If I choose to switch to biology, will it be difficult to declare this major?

No, it’s not. It’s harder to transfer into the Engineering and Business majors though (but everyone usually gets in provided that they have a decent GPA and take the prereqs).

I mean, you have to transfer to something. If you want to do bio tell your advisor that right away so you take the best classes for that. I don’t think it’s harder than average to get into bio; just keep your grades up.

I also just got accepted as undeclared major, but I want to do a business major. Can/should I try to declare major now (prior to enrolling)? Thanks
