Due to scheduled maintenance, all web forms (including contact forms) on the Undergraduate Admissions website ([Undergraduate Admissions - The University of Alabama](http://gobama.ua.edu/)) will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 31 until Tuesday, September 6.

My son has been admitted. I went to look at the honors and scholarship applications to copy the essay prompts because he was planning to do them this weekend during the website blackout. In the part of the honors college application that says to “Check all programs to which you are applying:”, I was unable to click CBHP, although the other two (IHP and UHP) could be clicked. Is it not available yet? Is there some other reason it wasn’t available? He meets the GPA criteria for applying. Thanks!

^^^ Please remember as m2ck and others have already posted, the “essay” on the online honors college app is not a true essay in the sense that you might be thinking. Dr. Sharpe actually told my daughter, no more than 2 - 3 sentences describing yourself and your excitement about coming to UA. You will not need to do a essay in the traditional sense until part of either UFE or CBH. Good luck everyone. RTR!

Decided to check the website anyways. Good thing I did. Day = saved.
