<p>I'm currently a freshmen in college and possibly looking to transfer. Does anyone know anything about what it's like to be a transfer student at UM?
I've only been through one semester but my current GPA is a 4.0, but my SAT scores aren't that impressive..low 1900s. What are my chances of getting in?
Also is the school transfer friendly? Like is there housing for transfer students specifically?

<p>If you keep up your GPA you’ll be able to get in easily. Your SAT is pretty competitive for UM as well. Transfers usually end up in upperclassmen housing which is very prison-y and everyone just does their own thing. There are some transfers on my hall and they’re rushing a sorority next semester I’m pretty sure. </p>
