I was contacted today that I was one of the ten semifinalist for the two candidates of my state to be sent to the United States Senate Youth Program. I have to take a "constitution-based" current events test that was actually made last spring, and I was wondering what things I should focus on to study for it. Also, does anybody know they general format? Essay or multiple choice? Would anybody have any idea of what they could potentially ask me?

I am a finalist for Indiana. What state are you from? My test and interview are Saturday (so nervous). I know each state’s tests are different, but my mentor basically had me memorize people who hold positions at the federal, state, and local level (school superintendent, town council president, cabinet positions, etc.) for the test. Some of the sample interview/ essay q’s were about campaign funding, improving democracy, voter ID laws… I also know that at least a majority of our test is free response/ open ended.
I hope this is helpful…
Best of luck!!

I’m from Mississippi. I was told that the test consists of 50 multiple choice questions.
