Hi all! I’m working on my Fellows application, but am not sure what the resumé portion is asking for. Is it essentially just wanting my high school honors/extracurricular/volunteer information, and should I include other info as well, like my GPA and rank? And how detailed should I be? I’m clueless when it comes to all this so any help is appreciated!
My daughter put together a resumé that included all of those things you mentioned along with employment history and broke it up by section (academics, extracurricular, employment, etc.). She included GPA and rank in the document, but I think she also provided that information elsewhere. In terms of detail, she tried to make sure everything she included was relevant in some way. I know that’s a fuzzy guideline, but if you look at something you’ve done in the past and decide it added nothing to who you are or what you want to do, it may not be worth including. Just her approach – I’m sure others handle it differently. Good luck!
