University Honors and International Honors Classes

I am a freshman entering in the Fall 2012 term and I am in UH and IHP. According to the University of Alabama IHP requirements (http://honors.cbhp.ua.edu/uploads/forms/Current%20Students/Snapshot%20of%20Policies%20and%20Procedures.pdf), 9 credit hours must be earned in a combination of courses including: UH 201, UH 202, UH 203, UH 204. Those four courses are University Honors courses, and I was wondering if taking those courses would fulfill the requirements of both UH and IHP? Or do I need to take 9 hours of courses to satisfy IHP and a seperate six to satisfy UH?

Thanks!

They should also count towards UHP requirements. I seem to recall having a conversation with Dr. Sharpe where he said that incoming freshmen would be able to complete IHP under the older requirements (not listed on your link) if so desired.

Thanks! I’ll speak with Dr. Sharpe. :D
