Hi, guys! Does anyone on here have experience with the Medicine in the Community class/experience at the University of Alabama? I’m a freshman at Bama who’s (obviously) interested in going to medical school, and this program looks intriguing. However, it looks like it takes up a significant chunk of time (like 3 hours) at least once a week in addition to the classroom time. If you’ve done this, how easy was it for you to balance with other obligations? I’m involved in research, so I do have to leave enough room in my schedule to be able to spend meaningful time in the lab. Really anything you can tell me about the program would be great to hear.
