University of Calfornia (UC) acceptance

In '08, my D got that ^, and got in.

@Bernie: UCSD and several other of those schools aren’t under the ELC program. While it is safe to say that you have a great chance at those schools, it is wrong to say that you are already in.

Under ELC, I’ve been accepted to Irvine and Davis. Waiting on SD, LA, and Cal.

also waiting for UCLA, UCSD, CalTech, UCB and UCSB (in the order of preference) …

only 29 days to go until Mar 24th - I hope I don’t get rejected by UC Berkeley

Notices for UCSC go out on March 15 (…every few hours…in alphabetical order…our surname comes up at 2:00 am…sigh). Transfers should hear by March 31.

i got into UCI!
and i’m just waiting on UCLA, UC Berkely, and UCSD. (and also csu long beach.)
i really want to go to UCLA! :D

Jessica, 27 more days to go until March 24th from UC Berkeley, I believe they are the last to report …

got into Berkeley through regents =)

regents is the most beautiful thing on the face of the earth. i’m so excited to visit berkeley.

congratulations !!!

I would love to have a chance to go to Berkeley, but I would prefer to be accepted to one of the UC is southern California (UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCI)

only 25 days to go until Mar 24th - I hope I don’t get rejected by UC Berkeley

but didn’t you want to go to one in southern california instead of going north?

i’m looking forward to being able to say “hella” in a legitimate sentence… haha.

but of course, i wish you the best of luck for Cal. everyone hard working enough deserves to go to a fabulous place of learning.

^^… I’m pretty sure hella is a norcal phrase. We all say it here. And people looked at me funny when I said it in SoCal haha.

Anyways, does anyone know when UCLA comes out??

you guys are funny … at least until Berkeley says he does not want me, then I will be start cussing on this forum …

UCLA, supposedly from mid to late March, this site should change when they are ready …

[Admission Decisions - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Applicant/Decision/default.htm)

@wadawada, true, but then I can say Berkeley wants me but I don’t want Berkeley, hee hee hee

hahah yes. and i know that hella is a norcal saying thing… i’m from socal, so i’m one of those people who would look at you funny if you said it here. i think it’s cute, though… :)

what does hella means, is it hello LA …

hella means “a lot”, “very”, or something along those lines

@wadawada, another reason why I am not putting Berkeley on top of my list is I am getting my braces, and my orthodentist said I have to see her once a month and she does not open on weekends, so I will have to fly back down here once a month on a weekday, and not knowing what my schedule is going to be makes this a little hard …

but I do wish everyone applying for Berkeley get their chance …
we will all know on March 24th ,

leakers - Berkeley is not comparable to irvine only caltech, ucla and ucsd. You may have a better chance of getting in there than close by because of geographic diversity.

You can find an orthodontist anywhere and you need to find someone to help you near school who will collaborate with your home orthodontist - even wait to get one until you go. If you will not attend berkeley, and you get in, you should choose UCSD as the best of the rest for that major. If you do not get into UCB, UCLA or UCSD and you get into Caltech, you should choose Caltech. (Based on quality of program/ perceived prestige to employer/grad school).
