University of California Schools Stereotypes!

<p>Let's stereotype the schools according to whatever they are.</p>

<p>Berkeley
Davis - Cow town
Irvine
Los Angeles
Merced -
Riverside
San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara - Party School
Santa Cruz</p>

<p>why on earth would you want to do that?</p>

<p>ur...ahahaha I was gunna say asian for berkeley. or...city of homeless people...or something ahaha</p>

<p>Irvine- university of chinese of immigrants
Riverside-ghetto of UC system</p>

<p>Tier 1
UCB: UC Ivy. Flagship. Hippies. Liberal. Intellectual. Romantic. Nerdy</p>

<p>Tier2
UCLA: Beachside, flashy, Hollywood. Crammed. Great Parties, surfing
UCSD: Also beachside, but more nerdy than LA. Mostly science</p>

<p>Tier3
UCD: Cow school(as you mentioned) smells like a booty. Horrible weather.
Agricultural
UCI: Chinese immigrants. I don't quite know</p>

<p>Tier 4
UCSB: University of Casual Sex and Beer
UCSC: University of Casual Sex and Cocaine</p>

<p>TIer 5. Bottom
Riverside: ******* of the UC system
Merced: Heck, people don't even know Meced yet/</p>

<p>Berkeley - Prestigious
Davis - Cow town
Irvine - Asian
Los Angeles - Trendy
Merced - What?
Riverside - Ghetto
San Diego - Nerdy
San Francisco - Medical School
Santa Barbara - Party School
Santa Cruz - Druggies</p>

<p>Note: these are stereotypes, and in some cases far from the truth.</p>

<p>Berkeley - competitive, overachiever, nerdy, lots of Asians or jocks.
Davis - nice place, friendly, everyone rides bikes, and yeah Cow Town
Irvine - COMMUTER! oh yeah, and lots of Asians. (something like 60%?)
LA - stylish, and oh yeah lots of Asians.
San Diego - nerdy, math/science-y, socially retarded, ****ty social scene
Santa Barbara - Chico/San Diego State for overachievers.
Santa Cruz - hippies/trustafarians/kids who couldn't get in to any other UC.
Merced - you're only here if you have no other option/you're from the area. And you're planning to transfer in 2 years.
Riverside - didn't get in anywhere else/from the area/can't afford anything else. </p>

<p>UCSF isn't undergrad, it's a med school.</p>

<p>hilarious..</p>

<p>Hahaha... This is fun. </p>

<p>Berkeley-Asian. Nerdy. Hippies. Some may graduate to become hobos. That's how you challenge the Man.<br>
Davis - Cowtipping. Too close to home
Irvine-Asian
Los Angeles-Trendy. White. Preppy?
Merced - What?
Riverside -
San Diego -
San Francisco - Doctors/Medical. Lesser-known. Sort of mentioned, but not often
Santa Barbara - Party School
Santa Cruz - Banana Slugs. They're probably a quirky lot.</p>

<p>What's wrong with the weather at Davis? I'm just curious because coming from Wisconsin, I'd say any Cali weather is good.</p>

<p>^^I'm a UC Davis grad, and I can tell that the weather isn't horrible. It is hotter there in the summer (temps >100) than in cities nearer the coast, and you get cold (merely "cool" by Wisconsin standards) foggy days in the winter. But overall it is still California with pretty decent weather most of the time. It actually snows in Davis about once every 20 years - or so I was told; never happened while I was there.</p>

<p>I went to UC Davis today, and I have to say that it was sooo cold. It was a pretty cold day in general today, but yeah my toes inside my shoes were cold, (we had an outdoor tour thing), my face was cold, my nose was numb and my hands were chilled. It was very pretty and relaxed, though.</p>

<p>Berkeley - Overachievers, nerdy and very serious.
Davis - Aggies!
Irvine - Commuters
LA - Big, impersonable, lots of fake and white people
San Diego - Nerdy, serious
Santa Barbara - Party school, beachy
Santa Cruz - Hippies, last resort for some people
Merced - Eh, what?
Riverside - Very warm. Also where my grandma lives.</p>

<p>UCSC</p>

<p>University of California SECOND CHOICE</p>

<p>hahaha i love this topic.</p>

<p>and LOLL @ the "what?"s at merced. poor UCM :( nobody cares</p>

<p>Re Post 13:</p>

<p>hot, dry, little shade. And windy often when it rains. It's just a barrel of fun when the rain comes at you at a 90 degree angle when you're RIDING YOUR BIKE.
Also flat, though not a "weather" feature, but unnerving if you like variety in your topography. Bor.....ing.</p>

<p>Well, there's something to love and something to hate about every campus.</p>

<p>UCLA: </p>

<p>U C Lots of Asians
Under Construction Like Always
University of Caucasians Lost in Asia</p>

<p>you know, there are more asians at ucla than at cal. i don't know why people identify berkeley with asians (although i admit that we have many of them here) and ucla, not as much.</p>

<p>UCSC - lotttts of weed
UCLA - University of Caucasians and lost asians
UCSB - (UCSTD) parrty school
UCB - save a tree sacrifice a politician
UCR - hot last choice</p>

<p>"UCB - save a tree sacrifice a politician"</p>

<p>lol, my favorite one.</p>

<p>Have any of you checked the statistics for UCLA this year, is has actually been in the LA Times this past fall because the Asian population there is the majority.</p>
