Hello i am currently a 11th grader and ive been doing some research on some colleges i would like to attend. I know im suppose to apply to 9 colleges and ive found 2 match schools i really like, UGA and UM. My grades are respectable imo 3.5/3.7 (90/92)and i am going to major in business, Finance, Management,or Real Estate. Ive takin the psat but my school hasnt handed out the scores. What i would like to know is which school is better overall and for my majors? Which is more fun? Is UM worth the extra 20k? Also does UGA have commmunal bathrooms too? And do Hurricanes affect UM classes that much? I know i have a year left but this info will help me out planning what grades i need to get to get in and helping me make a better decision.Thank You in advance and sorry for my grammer.

UMiami is a significantly better school than Georgia. These aren’t really comparable schools. They also have very different environments. I would suggest visiting the campuses and seeing which type of environment you like better.

Also, Miami is much more expensive than Georgia if you are paying in-state tuition at Georgia, which is fairly cheap. So cost is a consideration.

UGA is one of the top undergraduate business schools for real estate:

In response to informative, i probably wont be able to visit the campuses. Also i live in Bk so i will be paying out of state.

Combining both of what you wrote Uga is best if i choose real estate, while UM is better overall. Could you describe the atmospheres if you attended? and Is UM worth the extra 20k because cost is a big consideration to me?

Also off topic sort of, but would you recommend applying ED to my reach school(Stanford) or not to waste it and apply ed to my match school (UM or UGA)? As i heard those who apply ed get in easier

I don’t think Georgia is worth the cost of paying out of state tuition. The appeal of Georgia is its in-state cost relative to a decent education. But with cost being equal or similar enough, I would take Miami.

Thank you you helped me out alot going to get my grades up and start practicing for the SAT. Going to apply ed so hopefully i get in Do you know what gpa you have to have to get full scholarship or any scholarships?
