@noah200013 You have a very good chance to get in. Your weighted GPA, ACT, and class rank are all where they should be to give you an above average chance of getting in.
36 ACT, i take college classes so i dont know my gpa, and i do research in neuroscience at Duke, my old high school gpa was 5.20, i have a good bit of extracurriculars but they’re not constant because I go to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, which you apply to your sophomore year of hs and go for junior and senior year, and I applied EA. planning to double major in some kind of public health or immunology and neuroscience with a premed focus
sorry folks but getting IN and getting $$ are two different things. At 65K most folks need some of that free love ($$) to make this school a good choice. I know we do.
when should we expect to hear back for early action???
[*] also around what time?
January 20 around 4pm EST. Definitely in the afternoon. My birthday is gonna be the day before so my birthday weekend can either be really good or really bad. @sss111222
how do you know it is January 20? do you have a reliable source or guess?
I really have no idea but 1/20 is a Saturday, so it seems an unlikely date for online notifications.
Anyone attending a future Cane day either February 25 or April 8?
looking at posts from last year, it seems EA came out on 1/26/17, so I would guess around that date - maybe on 1/25/18.
It’s on the website, it’s coming out 1/20
Where on the website does it say 1/20?
The only thing I found and it says ‘late January’

@dreamchaser2k18 do you have a link to where you see the EA notification date on the website, I can’t find it. Thank you
Can someone chance me, 30ACT. 93.2 weighted gpa (at least a 3.8 on a 4.0 scale), 6 AP’s and 10 College level dual enrollment classes. Decent EC’s a few clubs, varsity track and two jobs.
anyone have idea on type of merit $ for a out of state 4.3 WGPA w/ 31 ACT?
@A1A1A1 Nobody on here can guess that when it comes to MIami. Depending on what you are trying to major in and the other students in that 2022 application pool, those stats could get you denied admission, accepted with no scholarship, a small scholarship, a large scholarship, etc. Anybody on here that gives you an answer is totally guessing.
In their latest issue,Kiplingers is claiming Miami meets 89% of need. Anyone think that number is accurate ?
To everyone who applied EA… I applied ED, and got in, and the school said we’d find out late December, but we found out on the 18th. I would imagine if they’re saying late January for you guys that its probably between the 15th-18th…
I’m guessing the 18th - it’s a Thursday, and most schools seem to release decisions on Thursdays.
