@Mikemargo11 No one knows. However, the following makes today more likely: 1) EA decisions were released,on a Thursday last year, 2) It is now early February, 3) international students have said they received Fedex notifications that a package was to be shipped from UM on Feb.1, 3) the admissions office has got to be tired of all of the phone calls! If not today, soon. Good luck everyone. I hope it is worth the wait!

I hope merit money comes online, but if it doesn’t then it comes in the mail package which will arrive 1-2 weeks after they release online.
My application only shows complete. I think I read on the admission site, that we should know “by” 2/15
admissions site says “Late January-Early February”
Yeah, it was supposed to be late January. If they wait until the 15th everyone will be mad.
It does not say “by the 15th” anywhere I’ve checked –
They released ED decisions at 3 pm this year so maybe then ?
@jackd341 I’m 99.99% sure they release merit with the online portal! There is a section that will say “accept or decline merit award offer”
Got rejected from UT last night so really hoping this works out. UT and Miami were by far my top 2. Wishing everyone luck!

Since international packages are supposed to ship today would the online decisions come out today? Mail is usually after online notification… thoughts?
a lot of schools, including Miami, are unpredictable on release dates - especially those schools with the “by X date” notification guideline…there is a some consensus on this thread that perhaps today it happens (last year it was Thursday, 1/26)…as for merit - I’ve been trying to get an answer on that too…some say it comes right away, others say could come in mail 1-2 weeks. Going through this process for first time with S…has gotten into most schools, but waiting now on Miami which needs to come up with major merit $ to stay in the mix…good luck to everyone.
