Hi! My student was accepted Ed 1 and not a bit of merit money. Not one dollar. But every other school applied to (and heard that same week) offered significant merit money!

Go figure. They have no incentive to give merit money in ED round so those who got any be grateful! (I wouldn’t do ED again for my younger children from what I learned this time!)
UM doesn’t require a mid-year report for incoming freshmen thank god so I told my counselor not to send it!
My DD got 22K annually in merit and was accepted ED1 for fall22 admit They also maxed out grants for us so it is actually cheaper to attend UM than our state school.
Do you know if you can change the major? A few days ago I could not change, but now I can
