University of Miami Official Class of 2018 EA Results

@cchel42 what are your stats?

@nb0717 what was your decision?

As a parent of a current UM student I can share our experience. D was deferred initially, we send more rec letters, sent a revised resume, and met with the department head of her major. In the end she was offered the UM in DC program for Fall and now is at the U spring semester. If you really feel UM is your dream school, research the program.

@hippos123 I was deferred

@hippos123 my admissions guy never answers me, the good news is my senior schedule is challenging and I have had really great grades and gotten some awards since applying. Will go down to the school. How do I update my admissions person if he never answers me?

Can you send more letters of recommendations from teachers if you are deferred?

@ever08 i would recommend calling the main admissions number and or trying to speak to someone from a different district, even if its not your regional counselor, it’s better than nothing. what were your stats (just wondering , if you feel comfortable answering) xx

guys has anyone been admitted yet ??

Also, those with high scores and all the accolades, do yourself a favor and DONT be overly confident. My daughter had all the scores and extras and she was deferred compared to peers who scored lower with less extras. There were kids in her high school who were accepted to Ivy and rejected by UM
