I am currently a senior in high school. Got a 1200 SAT and have a 3.2 GPA without much effort. Realistically I cannot get into my dream school UMiami. Will be going to the University of Scranton this fall. If I can get a 3.5-3.8 my freshman year, what are my chances as a transfer student for my sophomore year at UM? I plan to join a few clubs/intramural sports.
I think you should focus on doing well at UScranton before visiting the idea of transferring.
I’m betting you’ll love Scranton and won’t want to transfer. Yes, the weather isn’t balmy, but the vibe at Scranton is so warm! Great professors, kind, hard-working students, and so much fun!!
