I am a Freshman at a small public school in NJ. I am looking to transfer to UM either this Spring or perhaps during the Fall. I got a full ride to the school I am attending now, but my parents and I both agree that one year max at this school is all I need.
Before I start school, I just want to know, what classes should I be taking? Should I be taking all gen-eds? When you transfer, do schools care about course load?

I saw that, thank you. However, that does not answer my question. I am a freshman in college, and UM accepts both one and two semester freshman as transfers, so I am trying to see what would be in my best interest to take this fall. Perhaps seeking the opinion of a student who has transferred there in the past…
