@curveboi after all this you put us through more expectations
@curveboi what time?
Does this mean they won’t come out till friday?
If it doesn’t end up being today, tomorrow (even though they’ve never been released on a Thursday) could still make sense as its the last day of finals according to what I’ve been told.
uhhhhhh where do you check the status (aka whether the decision’s been or is being sent) on the wolverine access portal
Umich is killing me
Is anyone else’s site crashing?
They are up. My son was deferred.
@curveboi You cant just say that without details
I got an email from some random university in Maryland and the title said “Office of Admissions” I just had a heart attack…
@gradtke well, I met with him a few days ago and he said that he is in close contact with the reps. told me he would let me know when they let him know. just got an email saying:
Hey,
Just wanted to give you a heads up that they are coming out today.
Good Luck!!
Can be released anywhere from 3-3:30 est
I GOT IN!!! College of Engineering, Compsci!!! Good luck to you all!
I got deferred
Out on portal
People always warned that people be breaking your heart but never warned us about universities doing the same
The site’s slowing down because of us.
I GOT IN!! @LSA
@sdevorefl I sincerely hope you’re lying; if you’re telling the truth, however, I wish for all the best for your son.
Thank you for your application to the University of Michigan College of Engineering. We are pleased that you have applied and are impressed with your achievements. However, our high application volume, coupled with the very strong credentials of our applicants in recent years, has contributed to an increasingly competitive admissions process. As a result, we are writing to inform you that your application is currently being deferred for further review. An official communication will be sent to your email address on file.
While this is not the answer that you were hoping to hear, your application remains under consideration. All final admissions decisions of admit, deny, or waitlist will be made no later than early April, 2018.
Strong recent grades that are available before mid-February 2018 may improve your status in the deferred pool of applicants. Therefore, please ask your high school counselor to forward them when they become available. Beyond that, we are confident that the information you have given us is more than sufficient for a final decision. The most successful candidates send us only what we require. Please refer to the website https://umich.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2080 for FAQs about the admission process and what to do next.
We hope your interest in Michigan continues. You have our best wishes for an enjoyable and successful end of your senior year.
