I have not @LadyBird12

Can someone please help with the the LOCI. I am v v v confused lol

guys does this mean people who did not get their decisions yet have been rejected?

Yes last year there were several students admitted to Ross that were deferred initially

In-state female deferred from COE with 1520 SAT, 33 ACT, 3.9 UW, lots of engineering ECs and leadership, was accepted to and attended a prestigious (~10% acceptance rate) summer program this summer, and spent weeks on my essays and everyone I showed them to loved them… U of M was my top choice, I’m not sure where I went wrong but this is really bumming me out and making me worried about my regular decision applications…

Concerning GPA, I follow the french system so it’s a bit different, the scale is over 20. I’ve always been first in all classes. But regardless of academics, I also believe a big strength in my application were the essays and the ECs.

Here is a deferred thread!!

Pretty devestated not gonna lie

I got into LSA specifying in pharmacy. I am an out of state applicant with a 32 ACT 3.9 GPA, killer essays and good recommendations. Lots of EC’s, over 250+ volunteer hours, 2 jobs, started chem club at school. Hope this helps!? Good luck to all who were deferred!

Is it a thing that UMich defers people with really high stats in fear that they’re just applying to UMich as a safety?

@hawkfank2 where are you from

@pattybil4321 My decision was only released on the portal. Not all decisions are out yet, I wish you good luck!

Hi on my credentials page it says “Recent Grades Prior to Mid-Feb, second notification”, does anyone know what that means?
