University of Michigan
NYU
UCSD
UCLA
UCB
Johns Hopkins

A little bit on the low side? I have better stats (GPA, SATI&II) and similar ECs but my first language is not english. I got defered by Michigan.

not a chance

deferral. hopefully ur 1st semester grades were good

is that GPA UofM. Everyone seems to forget that michigan drops freshman year scores. If that makes your GPA above a 3.7 than you have a chance. Recalculate it and repost

A bit on the low side for Johns Hopkins, don't know about the others. Stranger things have happened though.

I'd have to read your essays and things of that nature because I know that and recs are probably what got me in. Good thing they don't count freshman year though.....I would not be even considering Ann Arbor.....damn that a bad year.
