How good is the Computer Engineering program at these three colleges and which one has the best CE program out of all three?
Assuming you’re talking about the University of Washington in Seattle rather than Washington University in St. Louis, I’d rate all of them as very good and for all practical purposes, equivalent.
Main considerations between them would be cost and admission to major.
@simba9 is correct. All fabulous schools for the major. And you can get about 300 posts out of this thread comparing the three and it will get pretty heated. That’s how good they are and their supporters want everyone to know. And rightfully so. Apply to all. See what they will cost and if you get in. Then come back with those details and everyone will really help you then. And in most cases all of the differing voices you hear originally will converge on the right answer.
Let’s say somebody comes up with a perfectly accurate, appropriate, reliable way to compute “quality” for all three programs. That’s not gonna happen, but if it did, then I suspect you’d find more variation within each school’s tracks/courses/professors/students than the Q-score variation between any 2 or 3 of them.
So I think you can safely choose based on personal preferences and net cost … unless you happen to have very specific interests that you’re sure one of them supports better than the others.
