my decision tab is still up
As a note to any new students joining this thread, typically in the past, if UMich admission decisions are imminent (i.e., “wave”), then many (not necessarily 100% accuracy) awaiting EA deferred decisions would see their decision tabs disappear.

Please someone post that your tab has disappeared so that we all can have some hope for today!! I really hope they do release something…
I applied RD, but never got a decision tab.

My decision tab disappeared at around 7pm for the first wave. It’s definitely later in the day, then my decision came out at 12:00 am. Don’t check until later on–no unnecessary stress!!
In past years, decision tabs (EA deferred only) have disappeared hours or even days (a week to 10 days +/-) in advance of a wave. Past patterns may or may not be followed.
It has seemed that last year it was a few hours prior but I think between 3-5 pm Eastern Time… Again last wave it stated after midnight a few weeks ago.
As stated, just go about your lives. You will know if it’s starting to happen. Why waste your time checking your portal constantly. If anything look after 5:00 pm. Again… If you start seeing CC starting to blow up its a good chance something is happening.
In reality this one decision won’t drastically change anyone’s lives. You will have other options. Years from now looking back on this you will wonder why you wasted your time checking.
Pro Tip : Enjoy your senior year! You have no control over this.
My decision tab is still there… should I be worried then??
Also sidenote- They ask for grades no later by mid-February, but my end of term winter grades (we are on a trimester) don’t come out until March 1). My college counseling at my school is horrible and never answer emails, never sends transcripts on time, etc,. Should I still get my cc to send in my end of term winter grades, or will it be too late for UofM? Is this affecting my chances?
@jelbel123. Instead of using your internet time to ask here why not email your regional counselor to ask this question about sending your grades.

According to someone on reddit who “has connections with an AO” there won’t be a release today… however I don’t know the accuracy of this source, so make what you will of it.

@sarahmia it’s in the application status page besides the view credentials tab
And the disappearing decision tab would only apply to a EA applicant who was deferred to the RD round.

Aye. Just got rejected by U Chicago, but got into Purdue’s Honor College 2 mins later. Still, it hurts so much… Hopefully Michigan get to release some decisions tonight.
