with other schools there are less that are deferred. UMich tends to basically defer a LOT instead of rejecting. So I think the % that get in is not high. My brother was deferred two years ago with great stats and in April was rejected
Just remember, Umich grants most of their acceptances during regular decision. MANY of today’s deferrals will become acceptances! Keep the faith!
