I have a friend who applied PA to pharmacy with no second application, but not Ross so I’m not sure if that’s helpful.

Ross app should show up right below your LSA app

This is their tumblr:

"Is it any indication that I have been accepted to LSA if my application has been sent off to Ross for preferred admission?
Hi! Sorry, a few people have asked about this but that’s just a technical thing and does NOT mean you’ve already been admitted.

Your Preferred Admission application will show in the “Admission Application Status” page on Wolverine Access. Here you will see the application term (the post-dated sophomore year term), academic career, academic program, application number, and application date. Please know that the application number and date is no indication of admission to the university or the Ross School of Business. All students who apply to the University of Michigan and choose Preferred Admission for the Ross School of Business will have a business application for their post-dated sophomore term."

I applied to engineering, does that change it?

The Ross App does not indicate an acceptance. Everyone should have it!

I did not even apply for Ross so that I do not have one. Do everyone has financial aid things?

I have all the financial aid things (6 links) @JK0919 but no Ross app. I applied to the college of engineering if that changes anything

Alright guys after talking with a friend who applied also, I think I have figured it out.

Only people who applied to LSA can have the Ross app. Then only people who applied to Ross will have the Ross app. Basically, having it means nothing, and Michigan is just trying to get ahead of the game.

I highly doubt they would upload anything that indicated your acceptance before actually accepting you

I know that the website says notifications are by December 24, but when is it usually? Anyone know from past years?

True. I do not think that Ross indicates anything. Well sorry to lessn some people’s expectation on pre-acceptance feeling but it sounds reasonable that we should follow what admission office said. They have no reason to lie about their applications.

@smc101 No one knows but I heard that they are gonna post someting else tomorrow in Wolverine Access tomorrow. Hopefully we could get to know what we deal with UMichigan next week

The whole thing with Ross was a nice thought, but not realistic… An hopefully applicant can dream though lol

@smc101 most of us are betting on friday. last year the decisions started coming out in waves on friday, december 20. it’s the last day before winter break.

Wait we should have the Ross app even if we didn’t apply to it? I applied to LSA.

Btw, in credentials, does it say LSA Undeclared? For me it does and I put a computer science major on my common application.

Yeah they put everyone as undeclared when you’re just applying

@prodigee I’m pretty sure you have to take pre-reqs before declaring CS, so that’s why you’re currently undeclared.

I did not apply for preferred admission so that I do not have one. Did you apply for preferred admission?

I just applied to LSA.

Well those who apply for preferred admission should have Ross. I did not apply for preferred admission therefore I do not have one. I think it makes perfect sense that this is not an indication that you are simply in. We just need to wait until what they say
