University of Michigan Early Action Class of 2019 Discussion

@lialex14‌ Ha, Ha… Good laugh!

@nat97xo‌ That was a joke

do you think that Michigan as a whole gives more of an advantage to white caucasians who are applying versus south asian (indian) people?

Ummmm, not sure. Why do you think so?

Any news on when decisions will be coming out?

@anithe1997‌ Friday or 24th.

Hope they come out Friday

received word from SMTD last friday! accepted into the dance program(:

@kellz10‌ how? Do they reply quicker for that program??

@prodigee yes i attended an audition and then received a phone call a few weeks later.

kellz10, Congratulations! Which audition date did you attend?

@keltz10 - but you probably have no interest in that “u of m isn’t very unique” :wink:

It will be out this Thursday or Friday.

definitely friday

I’m so anxious to hear back… The next few days will take forever

Oops, failed to tag @kellz10 - Congratulations! Which audition date did you attend?

Guys, once we get our decisions and are (hopefully) accepted, will we be able to sign up for a uniqname?

Are we sure they will be out on friday? Anyone have evidence?

Is OOS much harder to get into? Just based on scores ( I have a 2270 SAT and 780 Math 2C, 720 US History ) is this enough to get into LSA at least as an OOS? I did PA Ross however

Yes, it is definitely harder to get into U of Mich if you are OOS. Looking at your test scores, you are fine.

My counselor told me UMich likes to defer people :frowning: I am so worried… Last year a person with 19XX in our school got in but a person with 20XX did not DX

By the way, I suggest changing the thread name to discussion thread instead of result thread… Since the decisions are coming out soon?
