University of Michigan Early Action Class of 2019 Discussion

SMTD actually gets their decisions later…you have to audition first @kellz10

Is it a hint of acceptance to U of M LSA when you see your pre-admit application on the application page? I got my Pre-Admit application for Ross on Nov. 25th and here’s how it looks like: http://■■■■■■/ddtIm/79687f30e7.png</a>
I cut off the application number and date.

Can’t see the picture

I only think it recognizes you as an applicant for pre-admit.

Can anyone please tell me if you have a good chance of being accepted with a score of 30 on the ACTs??

@hobo65 It hints at nothing. It’s just stating that you are an applicant.

where does it say that hobo

Sorry guys, it keeps censoring the link.

did anyone apply to UMich STAMPS?

@sando97 depends on your ECs, gpa, and essays

@sando97 and State Residency

@hobo65‌ i got the same thing my ross app just showed up today and I dont think that my ross app would even be considered let alone processed if i wasn’t admitted to LSA

@mistyjr I did haha, I’ve been nervously awaiting Stamps decision. But I know it seems to be less competitive than the rest of UMich? With much lower published GPA and ACT average…

What do you guys think my chances are?
In state
LSA
Applied for perferred admission into Ross
30 ACT
3.9 Unweighted (valedictorian with weight)
Several AP classes with mostly 4’s (couple 3’s)
Many extracurriculars: Captain of hockey team, class president, NHS, leadership council, homecoming king, etc.
I have been trading stocks and investing since age 12.
I have also been battling Leukemia for almost a year now (have had to overcome adversity)
Those are just the main highlights.

cautiously excited to hear back from UM.

does anyone know why they seem to notify everyone in waves? it would be way less nerve-wracking if we all found out at the same time :((

chill out people

@hornet11‌ @hobo65‌ No idea what the picture originally said, but the same thing showed up on mine. No idea if it was there before, but I don’t think so… Anyone have any insight on this? Making me very anxious.

People always try to read too much into what Michigan does. I know it’s hard, but try to relax and not overanalyze. You’ll have your decisions in a matter of weeks, and those will tell you far more than this worrying ever will.

Umich admissions is incompetent. I wouldn’t read into what they do too much. The admin office isn’t that well run to be that subtle @hornet11, @hobo65‌ @cl3v3land‌

I’m regretting not applying preferred admission to Ross… :frowning:
