so this is my situation. When I applied Early Action, I originally had two letters of recommendation from teachers. However, a third teacher accidentally submitted his recommendation to U of M today, so now I have three teacher recommendations plus the counselor recommendation. Do you guys think I should call the office or do you think it is okay not to worry? Thanks in advance!

It sucks knowing that I thought I qualified for Early Action but was missing the ACT writing & now I need to wait until April.

@indian101 is there a limit on recs? I doubt they would disregard your application with an extra rec

@hobo65 @hornet11 Does that box show up when you click on Application status or does it show up right on the homepage? Also, is it a link or does it just say business admin?

@tedonan I don’t believe there is a limit, but I just didn’t want admissions to be overwhelmed with many pieces of information.

Think about it this way–the recommendation has been sent, and you can’t undo that. If you call or e-mail them about it, you’re providing them with another bit of information to sift through (your apology or request to remove the recommendation). I’d just let it go.

@Foreverindia It said it on your account and yeah, it only says business admin.

Ok Thanks!

@Finnlet Thanks for the perspective! I think I’ll just wait then

@indian101 & @tedonan I believe they accept 2 to 4 LORs if they do not change the policy this year. So having 3 submitted would not hurt. Nevertheless, didn’t you assign them in CommonApp? How would there be an unexpected one submitted?

Hey guys!
Just checked my application status. I noticed that today they added my Ross BBA preferred admit application onto Wolverine Access. I checked Ross’ website, which said that applications for the preferred admit program will only be reviewed pending the acceptance to another college at Umich(typically it is the College of LSA, which I applied to also). Would you guys think this means I got accepted? Otherwise it would be pointless to upload a BBA application onto WA, which Ross receives, if I were rejected or deferred.

@carlsandburgsr Exactly where/how on Wolverine Access is this application displayed? I want to check if it’s been added for me.

@KhalDrogo2 for me, it’s right on the main page when you log in to WA under the big heading “Admission”. I have both listed as well, I asked the Admissions Tumblr with no reply yet, but will post it here when I get one!

mine is listed the same! @KhalDrogo

Unfortunately, I applied to Ross and still only have the LSA application listed.

@KhalDrogo2 my bet is that it doesn’t even mean anything - just says when they process the application. Obviously the optimist in me says otherwise but I’ll let the admissions tumblr answer our worries (tomorrow hopefully)

what is umich international acceptance rate?

are all A’s and 1980 good enough to get into umich engineering

@rejectedbyumich depends on your Math score

@cl3v3land 740 ON MATHS
