Right here… I am pretty mad at this point… Applied to COE on 1st of Feb.
Although… I am an international Transfer… Thats probably why… but still…
Do we have lower chance of getting accepted if we submitted our application on the last day of the deadline?
Im getting more and more nervous and mad…
@Reborn2537 I am also an international student. I applied two days before the deadline if I remember correctly. Honestly, my feelings are pretty much hurt. I don’t want to be nervous because I believe in myself but I’m just dying over here.
Maybe the fact that we are both international students is the reason why they are taking much more time. Who knows.
I don’t think that’s the case. While I am an international I study in the US and they still haven’t replied to me. And as you see from previous comments seems like they didn’t release any decisions yet. But yeah they are way too late, I mean deadline for enrollment is May 1.
I applied to CoE as well and was “rejected” mid-March as some materials were not received by the Feb ddl. I explained that these materials weren’t available at that time and they agreed to review my application regardless of that. So I was soon contacted by Credit Evaluation of the school then that of CoE for syllabus. I thought that’s why I haven’t had a decision yet, buy apparently it’s not the case. When were you guys asked to send more course info, if at all?
I was never got any contacts to submit anything more. I submitted every material on time…
They asked me to submit my CS class course evaluation. I received an email about a month after the deadline.
I have a quick question. In your official transcript, can you see the list of the classes you are currently taking, even if they are not graded yet?
Got an email today from Michigan. I got denied for Mechanical engineering with a 3.82 GPA. Goodluck everyone.(I am an international student)
I received an email at 3pm EDT with a “CONGRATULATIONS”! I was honestly losing hope so I can’t believe I got accepted!
Accepted into LSA. I’m an international student and completed only the freshman year.
Nothing still…
I called this afternoon and they told me to wait until mid may. Smh
@Med509 Nope, but I made a list of my current courses and their corresponding credit values. Since you will have to back it up with real transcripts anyway, I think my unofficial report was good enough. It was marked as received in the system.
@Reborn2537 Did you submit any course syllabi with your application? I didn’t include them in my initial materials as they apparently didn’t ask for them. However, they contacted me twice for “detailed course descriptions” - once for math, once for programming.
@EngineEstein Sorry to hear that man. Rejection sucks. but you can commit to UIUC now, their ME rocks as well
I was rejected by CoE computer science yesterday. (I’m a freshmen/international student). Maybe I’ll try again next year. I think you guys who are still waiting for CoE’s reply have good chances!
I just get admitted to the Environmental Engineering. I am just crying of joy right now and thanking God with ally heart!! I still can’t believe. UMich is like in the top 5 for Environmental Engineering. OMG
All my *
@Med509 hey, when did you get the decision? on wolverine access or via email?
On wolverine access
I got accepted to COE as CS!!
Thank God!!
Good luck to everyone else who is still nervously waiting…
and Congratulations to all of you who got accepted!!
See you guys there at Ann Arbor! Go blue!!
@EdwardL I committed to UIUC a week ago I decided Michigan was a lot more money for no real difference (am trying to cope with my rejection). Tell me where will you go in the end and best of luck in wherever that place is.
For the accepted congrats. For the waiting congrats on going through all those hoops and making it to this point. For the rejected, show them that they will miss out on a lot by not taking you and do well in wherever you go. Good luck to all.
