University of Michigan Regular Decision Class of 2022

I’ve told my son to consider it a rejection at this point. We are OOS and he applied pre-admit to Ross. We are booking trips to schools he has been accepted to (Notre Dame and UCLA). No time or money for Michigan. All the in state people can rejoice, one less OOS.

Has any RD decisions come out?

EDIT: LSA decisions?

@ericzhuNHS I don’t know about other LSA applicants, but mine hasn’t.

D18 Waiting on LSA Regular Decision

Has there been major RD releases yet, though, especially for engineering? It seems like most have been just a couple at a time. Over here, all I heard was that two of my friends heard back from Ross, one got in and the other didn’t. Comparing to other years in the past, this year has had much more applications. It doesn’t make sense for them to keep all the rejections at once and only release trickles of acceptances. Again, idk, maybe I’m just trying to make myself feel better lol.

@runderwood0314 Two major batches plus many sporadic admissions have been announced. The 2 big batches were on 2/2 and 3/2.

Oh ok, didn’t realize that. Thanks

my friend heard back from LSA at the beginning of this month. she got in off of a deferral from EA

If I was defferred EA but haven’t heard back, what are my odds of getting in?

so…when do we think these rejections are gonna be released?

Has any of the admitted students gotten their acceptance packages in the mail yet?

My DS got his official letter about a week after his acceptance, we’ve gotten a few things since then. The official letter included a certificate and one or two other paper things in a manilla envelope.

so now only rejections?
no more acceptance in next wave?

I hope we still have some chance, even for a slight.

DS got his acceptance at the beginning of March after being deferred. He received an official letter about his acceptance, but hasn’t gotten the bigger envelope with the certificate or any other info. How long does that take to arrive?

I’m on a different boat than you guys. I will assume I got rejected if I don’t get the reply by April 1st. Yes, based on my academic profile I need quite a lot of luck to get into that school. To be honest it is likely that I am rejected by now. (I applied there because it won’t “hurt” if I get rejected). I have chosen a school that I am going if I get rejected from Ann Arbor.
I heard the rejections come out late. Bruh I’m not waiting for mid April to get a rejection letter. I know that waiting til the end/ waitlisted usually don’t work out for RD lol

Has anyone received a decision RD? Why is everyone so negative? Does Michigan only let kids in EA?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is there still a chance

So the rest of the decisions are likely to be released this week then?

@Jason1665 by this Friday probably.
