@RACOON1012 It is need blind for all.
@justme2018 Admission notices come out between February and early April. It has started last Friday already but it will be in multiple batches.
@billcsho is the G.O.A.T!!!
@borisdarice Congrats on your early acceptance! Could you tell us your stats?
Hey. I’m an international student. Applied January 1 to Ross. When can I expect the decision?
If Michigan really has a rolling admissions system then how can it be that I applied Dec 24 and people who applied in January already have their acceptances? I’m not complaining, just genuinely wondering. I applied LSA but have yet to submit a midyear report because they haven’t been made available yet. Will UMich release my decision without a midyear report? Will they even begin to review my app without it?
Rolling admission just means there is no fixed release day and the review may be started before application deadline. It does not mean FIFO although some schools do. Strong candidates applied early may be admitted early. Average applicants may need to wait a bit longer before admission. Rejection usually come out in the later rounds of notice.
Most schools are need blind for everyone, but relatively few meet full need. Be sure you’re asking the right question.
Has anyone gotten a decision today?
GPA 4.67, SAT 1410, 9 AP’s with 4.5 average, research fellow at Scripps. Also was just accepted to UF today…in state
I feel like I’m missing material. On my view credentials page for Ross it has 4/5 spots fills with: Transcript, high school report/ counselor rec, hs teacher evaluation/acad rec, and test. What am I missing?
@WashUH0peful It is normal to have that empty slot unless you have other stuffs like portfolio.
I submitted a Ross admissions portfolio. Is it possible it hasn’t processed yet? I don’t see any indication they received it anywhere else
@WashUH0peful As the portfolio is not “required” for the application (i.e. items to make the application complete), it may be not listed there.
Have any international students received an acceptance notification yet?
Just received a HAIL interview request from Michigan Engineering. Does anyone know what it means?
I also got a HAIL interview request, any advice on how to prepare will be greatly appreciated! It also says the interview is optional, is it advised to do it?
@gatechhopeful18 hey, I was accepted to umich coe for early, but I did not do my interview. It is optional and I don’t think it helps that much.
@blissblessed Thanks!
@blissblessed - thanks. Would you be able to share your stats? I have applied for mechanical engineering and would love to know my prospects on getting in.
yes!!
@gatechhopeful18
I did really bad freshman year, where I had 4 B’s, however I got all A’s sophomore years till now, took 11 ap classes and got 34 on the ACT. So with michigan gpa I had solid 4.0 (since they do not calculate freshie grades) but I actually have like 3.93
Goodluck, and hope to see you there!!!
