@blissblessed They do include freshmen grades since the resume GPA recalculation many years ago.
@blissblessed - thank you! Congratulations on getting in and really keeping my fingers crossed that I can get in.
I submitted my application on Feb 1, when should I expect my decision to come??
hey guys
@RACOON1012 Any time between now and early April. More likely between early March and early April as you submitted on the last day.
Thank you!!! @billcsho.
Per the HAIL interview guide - it looks like the decisions will start rolling out in Feb and go on through April
ALL admissions decisions will be sent via email from Michigan.Admissions@umich.edu or UA-Admissions@umich.edu with the subject line “Your University of Michigan Admissions Decision.” Please add these email addresses to your safe list so that your decision does not go to your junk or spam folder.
February - April: Admission decisions released on a rolling basis.
Thank you @gatechhopeful18
Um… I submitted the app on 1/1 but I didn’t get any reply so should I not expect too much?
@Fonz93 I do not think that getting your decision a little late means that you do not have a chance but then again I am not an expert. However, I have heard that it is a bad sign if you have to wait until early April to hear back because at that point they send out mostly rejections. Good luck!!!
Just got an acceptance from SMTD! Now just praying that Ross wants me…
Just got accepted to the College of Engineering~ (I’m an international applicant)
Congratulations! When did you apply? I am an international student but I’m still waiting.
Congratulations @happygal2017 !! Would you mind sharing your stats? I applied on 2/1 and still waiting. I have already scheduled a HAIL interview - hope to hear soon - fingers crossed!!
Hey guys! Any hope for today
Congrats @happygal2017 ! My D heard from CoE yesterday too, she was accepted! Applied December 28th. She is beyond excited, it was a school on her list that we didn’t pay much attention to as it was a bit of a reach. We will visit for Campus day and cross our fingers for OOS financial aid. I don’t want her to be too disappointed if it’s not possible financially. We ran the NPC before applying and it was fine but that was before I knew my self employment can be an issue. She still has an upcoming interview, which is a beautiful thing and a priceless opportunity to ask a lot of questions as an accepted student.
Good luck to those waiting!
@m7998491 Thanks! I applied in the second week of January.
Did you have HAIL interview and if so how long did you complete the interview before the school acceptance?
Thanks
@Volunteerism HAIL interview timing is irrelevant to the admission process. It has very little impact too.
@billcsho
Yes, influence of interview on final decision is well known. I am just wondering if it affects the timing of the final decision (whichever it maybe). For instance, if you are selected for an interview and you accept the invite I assume decision will not be released until completetion on the application in it’s ent which includes the interview report.
