Hey Guys! What’s the latest they would give our decision by, approximately?
Same here! Applied health and fitness major
Does anyone know how long it will take to hear back when the application is complete?
It takes approximately 6-8 weeks. Based on last winter’s thread, people were hearing back around this time. However, since they were having problems retrieving data from the Common App Transfer, it’s a possibly that we won’t start hearing back till later.
*possibility
Any updates for anyone?
Nope
No, nothing here. I know quite a few people who applied from my community college and none of them have heard anything either.
Received an email telling me to apply for in-state residency because they seemed to have put my application as out of state for some reason, however no updates other than that!
Has anyone heard back yet? If so who is your counselor?
Also what are everyone credentials like here?
Got accepted earlier today through email!!
@fasdfdssdf Congrats! Which school did u apply to?
Anyone got accepted by the school of kinesiology?
@MacKid997 thank you! I applied to LSA.
I applied to Kinesiology but haven’t heard anything yet
@fasdfdssdf Congratulations and go blue!! That is wonderful!
I applied to LSA with interests in psychology and sociology.
GPA: 4.0 with 32 credits completed and 16 in progress.
Extracurriculars: Team USA figure skater, figure skating coach, Food Gatherers (provides fresh food to Washtenaw Country residents and the homeless), Therapeutic skating instructor (skaters usually have Down Syndrome, Aspergers, Autism), and a part-time job. I also did UROP with Umich over the summer in the Ford School and LSA Sociology department so I am hoping that might help me a bit.
I have REALLY awful high school stats but I was in and out of the hospital and treatment centers during my high school years for anorexia nervosa. I’m thinking my low amount of credits and my hs stats will lead to a denial from umich but I figured it was worth a try! Best of luck to all of you!! I can’t wait to hear what happens for everyone.
Applied to School of Kinesiology (Sports Management).
GPA: 3.7 with 46 credits completed and 16 currently taking.
Extracurriculars : Work part-time, in a mentoring group for African American and Hispanic males, on two different committees
Had a letter a recommendation from the President of my college, had letter of recommendation from athletic director, made the dean’s list twice, took classes all year round.
HS stats: 3.7 GPA and 1040 SAT
I’m also interested in psychology too so LSA might be an option too if I don’t like sports management.
Congrats @fasdfdssdf
Hello, did anyone receive an email from Michigan Engineering, even if you did not apply or select interest in the college of engineering ?
