University of Oregon (UO) Early Action for Fall 2022 Admission

Has anyone heard anything about when Early Action admissions to Clark Honors College will be announced? I know they said by Dec. 15…

Has anyone who applied to architecture heard back? My son was accepted to UO a few weeks ago but still no word on architecture program admit.

An admissions rep told my daughter they would be notifying Stamps applicants if they were moving on to semifinalists “by next week” and the notification would come via email.

She is hoping to hear about Clark Honors this week.

According to this web page, notification about architecture typically comes in January for EA admitted students: Apply for a Bachelor of Architecture | School of Architecture & Environment

Great webinar tonight about Clark Honors and other opportunities. They said decisions on CHC will go out tomorrow by the end of the day - students should check their portals. Nothing about Stamps.

Did students need to apply for CHC or were they identified by the university and contacted?

Nevermind. Found it

On the webinar, they said if you are already accepted and still interested in the Honors College, you can apply now and they will admit students on a rolling basis until final regular decision admissions are completed, I think.

I have to wait until my son gets home today to log into his portal! And he might not log in right away because he likes to “relax” a bit before doing anything school related! :flushed:

What are your kids seeing in their portals? My daughter’s portal doesn’t have any status updates, and honors college status just says “Applied,” but under missing items it says CHC Response Form and when she clicks on that it says that she has been accepted to the honors college. Did your kids get any other notice or info?

Under “missing items” it says “accepted”? That is so bizarre. No happy letter with confetti? :joy:. I can do NOTHING until my son gets home. Only he knows the password.

That’s what my daughter’s portal shows too – the CHC Response form. That form says she was accepted to CHC – and asks her to select whether or not she is going to accept it.

Ah! Interesting. But you don’t have to except until May 1, right?

That’s right, I believe.

Daughter accepted to Clark Honors! Thank you all for figuring it out!

OK. Well son logged into portal and all he sees in the “missing” section is “Intent to Register” (or something). Nothing about CHC. Do you guys have an “intent to register”? Or only the CHC form?

Another weird thing is that yesterday during the webinar they said you’d either hear: Yes, No or Defer. Well, we haven’t heard any of those things yet from the CHC…

I still hope they will send out some actual notice. This is a crazy way to have to determine the outcome.

Yes, and to confirm, you only have the CHC response form in the “missing” items? No additional “intent to register” form? Or was your “intent to register” form replaced by your CHC response form?
