<p>My friends told me that RPI is more presitigous than URochester. I don't believe that, for UR has a higher ranking in US news. So I wonder how credible the ranking is.</p>

<p>URochester is a better undergraduate experience....more balanced...and more prestigeous if that matters.</p>

<p>U Rochester is better overall academically and Rochester is a much nicer city than Troy. But, RPI is much better than U Rochester in engineering (except bioengineering). So, it depends on your major.</p>
