Congratulations, Mirarle! What's your major?

If you want to speed up the process a bit, you don't have to wait for the mail. You can apply for housing online, which is the most important thing to do quickly. 2 days after my S got the call, he could log on to pay his enrollment deposit. You can register for orientation only after they receive the deposit and you complete a couple other steps.

Hi FauxNom! Thanks! I'm a bio major thinking to double in poli sci.
Thanks for telling me! I'm wasn't sure what to do 'cause I forgot half of my conversation with USC because I was so excited. Only remember the mail thing at the end of the week.

Seems liek everyone who got bumped up received an email or a phone call...i received neither..
But when i tried to log onto the enrollment deposit form a while ago, I COULD. !!! (didn't work before)

SO...does that mean I was moved to Fall?!?!

As a fellow spring 2012 admit, I have to say it is a tough choice…
I got into Syracuse and USC as my top two, and I dont know if i’ll be able to fit in at USC in spring. <- seems so late T_T

Hello! I’m going abroad for the Spring semester so I am looking for someone to sublet my apartment for the spring of 2012. Its a great place on Ellendale two blocks from campus. Large rooms, with kitchen, 2 bed and 2 bath. $600 if you share a room, $1200 if you want your own room. Please let me know if you’re interested! e-mail me at emily.king@usc.edu

I’m a spring 2012 admit but I’m not sure if going to usc is the right choice. I’m a bio major and I was wondering how the programs are at usc.
jparkk: I agree with you. I’m afraid that I might not fit in with everyone else too since we are not going to be with the rest of the fall admits

jparkk, epking and xzzasdwe, please note that you kids have pulled up a three-year-old thread! You might want to start afresh with a Spring admit discussion for the 2011(12) admits (I think there is one floating around the forum somewhere).

The “2012” in the title refers to the *graduation year *of those in the discussion three years ago.

I was a transfer in the fall and I’ll be moving near campus for the spring; so I’m looking for a fellow girl roommie to share a 2 bedroom (you’d have your own room). The apartment is clean, bright and in the safest area around USC (north university park). 10 minute bike ride. You can see pictures of it here: [The Christopher Apartments](<a href=“The Christopher Apartments”>The Christopher Apartments)
Please non-smokers only!
email me at martens.francesca@**********

hey guys! first off-congrats on getting into USC! It’s awesome here, you’re gonna love it!

Second of all–I know housing can be kind of difficult to come by for spring admits/transfers (I was a transfer and had troubles getting housing for the fall) so I thought I’d post a housing opportunity in here!

I live in Founders (on Portland street). It is SUPER close to the row, so it’s awesome if you like going out. But if you like quiet-it’s definitely quiet in the building-I sleep with my window open and I can’t hear any of the noise from the row! It’s a nice building and they’re doing renovations on the inside right now (they just repainted and are fixing some other things). There’s a gym on the 3rd floor ( a nice gym! the treadmills have tvs on them!) and laundry on the 2nd floor. There’s an indoor courtyard for locking up your bike on the first floor. The apartments themselves are nice too! They have full kitchens (stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, TONS of cabinet space, and they don’t usually come with microwaves but I’ll probably wind up just leaving mine because I’m trying to move into my sorority house). There is a nice living room, a balcony and two bedrooms (two people to a bedroom). The rooms are pretty spacious and the bathroom is nice too!! It’s close to the row and the 2-9 (an awesome cafe) and the grocery store and it’s like a 6 minute bike ride to the heart of campus. It’s a very modern and awesome place to live (I’d stay but I want to move into my sorority house with my best friend). It’s also really really really cheap for USC housing–it’s like $3400 for the whole semester (which is like $800 a month–cheapest you’re going to find around here for a nice apartment but you pay one sum not by the month)!

Message me if you’re interested! I’d be happy to send you photos or any extra information!!!

Hey guys. Just transferred to USC this fall, I’m sure you’re all as excited as I was. If any of you are film, theater, or journalism majors (or are just interested in the entertainment arts at USC), you should check out this website: CelebritySC

It’s the best source of info on upcoming projects and events pertaining to those areas of study, and it can give you a great idea of what to expect from classes like Production 290 and 310, if that’s what you’re interested in. But other than that, there’s also features on some of the speakers and screenings offered at USC (there are a ton).

AND it’s run by a transfer, with a lot of transfer contributing writers. :)

I am currently a female junior engineering student at USC and my roommate and I are looking for a good subleaser for our apartment. My roommate is studying abroad for Spring 2012.

If any of you need housing, our apartment is 1133 W 36th Place, which is right across the street from campus, it’s a great location. Our apartment is awesome and we keep it really clean. And I’m a nice person If you guys don’t feel like dealing with USC housing for transfers (which sucks, I was a transfer, too) shoot me an email at isabellc (AT ) usc.edu

$795 for rent, $50 for utilities, $100 for parking if you want it.

“Fall invitations will be based on the specific enrollment needs of the University, not on rankings, level of interest or wait-list order.”

I’m pretty sure majority of spring admits would do anything to start school in the fall but there’s nothing we can do but just wait and eventually things will fall into their place.

Anyone have any idea’s what their going to do during the Fall. I think I might be moving out to LA and knocking out some of the courses at a local community college (My cousin who is currently enrolled as a senior at USC recommends knocking out some of the harder general education and humanities credits at a school such as LACC).

Going to be kind of weird alone from Boston, MA but I’m sure there are probably other Spring Admits in the same position.
