<p>What a coincidence, on the appeals thread, 2 people got in and now on the Spring Admits thread, 2 people got bumped up from Spring to Fall. I'm wondering how many people actually got in on appeals that are not on CC.</p>

I got bumped up from spring to fall. I know, others would be ecstatic; I'm not. I reaaallly need to work until the end of the year, and since I'm an international, things would become very stressful now (since I had planned for spring). Before I ask them, does anybody know if I can still go in spring? Or do I HAVE to go in fall now?</p>
<p>Thanks to all! My d was on a facebook spring admit group and all of them (5)were bumped up also. as far as lobbying goes we sent one letter after admit day in april and two emails. Awlex; we heard at the admit day in april that one of the kids on the panel was bumped up to fall but had made so many plans he remained a spring admit, so i believe it is possible to remain a spring admit if you want. I will keep the screen name! D's major is biology.</p>

<p>You do not need to take the Fall admission. Just let Admissions know you would prefer to enroll for Spring Semester.</p>

<p>FauxMom: Thanks, and congrats to you, too! Obviously, I would love to go in fall, but for me, there are also a lot of advantages in going in spring. And the ambassy just told me there's no way I can obtain a visa in time, so it's definite that I'm going in spring :) I just hope I'm not the only SCA spring admit now...
