Accepted to Moody for Journalism! I checked at around 3:10. Non-auto admit resident
JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO PETROLEUM ENGINEERING. Top 1% at huge school, good EC’s and test scores. However, Petroleum Engineering was my second choice…ChemE was my first choice. I thought that PetE was more competitive so I put it second. Weird.

@rach98n I applied on october 13th. so I don’t think there is a correlation between date of submission and the date yo hear back. there’s still next week guys, so keep your heads up!

Yes there are some people that will hear back on the 27th. That will likely be the last day

For applicants who were CAPd, I believe the CAP enrollment portal opens on Feb 25 at 6pm central, so in fairness one would expect all CAPees to be notified prior to that date, not by Feb 27, especially since UTSA has placed a limit on the number of CAP students it accepts. I believe USTA will accept CAPees on first-come-first-served basis (ie. first to accept CAP offer and name UTSA as the partner school = first accepted by UTSA).
@skdoss bc such a large amount of people have heard today. i think they are over unless they release more tomorrow, which they may. if not then next week for sure
I was accepted into the school of engineering at UT today. I was rejected (offered Blinn Team) at TAMU Engineering. I remember scrolling and lurking through the TAMU admissions thread for weeks waiting for my decision, and it was painful when I was not offered full admission through the review process. If you didn’t get in today. It is not the end of the world. UT is a great school, but there are other great schools out there. Don’t let the school you attend define who you are or what you accomplish. There will probably be more decisions so don’t lose hope. Cheers.
@Nogarap def right! I have friends last year who didn’t get into UT but got into UC Berkeley!
@vs1997 It’s sort of discouraging to not have found out when so many people did today. It sort of makes me mad at how they do admissions… I waited around for two hours today and received nothing… Oh well. I think the admissions process has turned me off from this school.
@skdoss i felt exactly the same way. i was so irritated with the admissions. but just be patient, you already waited many months. wait for one more week
