On FB, an admission counselor did tell someone that all merit was sent out on Friday.
Interesting! We have something from SLC in pre-shipment status (whatever that means).
Gusazzi - did you receive WUE? We are from the Southeast so no WUE for my DD. Praying some scholarship money comes through soon!

I saw something similar on the “University of Utah Parent Discussion” group. Here is the quote
So I apologize for all of the posts about scholarships. Our admissions counselor said all scholarships were sent out on Friday. Has anyone received one? She said it should be in their Umail accounts. Paper packets were sent out on Friday as well.

We got nothing. Acceptance package with some goodies but no letter… boo! Does that mean we are not getting anything??? So sad.
Did you guys get anything in Umail? We still have NOTHING on hisfinancial aid page and NOTHING in Umail… ahhhhhh!!!
Nope it was all a big tease as far as what was in the package.
The actual mail package (a hat, power bank, straw and cardholder). But no financial aid.
We have nothing in Umail, regular email, or mail.
Still could be coming out later today.
Let’s hope if anyone one else gets a package please let us know if you got another type of letter in there.! This is all we got.
Hello, all. I am a long time lurker here and wanted to reach out to let you know that I just spoke to somebody in the U’s financial aid office. She stated that merit scholarships for new freshman are not being sent out until the first two weeks of April.
Oh no!!! This is horrible
Wow SO much misinformation going around. U doesn’t have their act together this year.

Thanks for sharing. I just got off the phone with admissions and they said packages started going out on Friday. I think admissions and FA are not on the same page (clearly) and since no one here (or on Facebook) has gotten an award, I think the April date is likely correct. Also, they did not have our son’s SS number (we had to inquire 3 times - they did not reach out to us) so fingers crossed that doesn’t affect merit consideration (we asked that question and have not heard back yet). U of U is our son’s first choice school so we are hanging in through the craziness of this!
