University of Virginia Chances

Hi I am currently a Junior taking part in the IB Diploma and was wondering what are my chances of getting into UVA.
These are my grades below

My Sat 1 scores were… Reading - 520. Math- 700. Writing- 660. I got an 11 on my essay

I plan on taking the Sat II for Math level 2 and US History

My extracirriculars are:
Key Club
STAND
Math Honor Society (President)
Science Honor Society
National Honor Society
History Honor Society

I also am part of a Youth Council at an Alternative House and volunteer daily at a doctors office once a week.
Next year, for senior year and this upcoming summer, I am going to be a counselor at a summer camp and also volunteer at an Elderly center for those with Alzheimer's

What are my chances of getting into UVA? I am an IB Diploma Candidate (I know it doesn't mean much but maybe it will help?)

Do you live in Virginia? And what is your class rank estimated percentile?

i live in virginia. My class rank is top 10%

Get that SAT to a 2100+ and you will have an okay shot.

what else can I do to have a better shot? I plan on running for president of another honor society. Will it help if I apply for early admissions?

Yeah, Ed will definitely boost your chances because you’re borderline. If the sat I is higher, you’ll have an above-average shot because GPA and class rank is in check

Wait, I thought UVA doesn’t have ED?

Also, since you’re in-state (didn’t take that into account) I think you have a better than okay chance if you get a 2100+ because the acceptance rate for in-staters is nearly double the acceptance rate for out-of-state.

If you can increase your SAT score to 2100+, you will probably get in early action. (UVA has nonbinding early action, not early decision).

I’ve heard it doesn’t make a difference if you apply EA or regular because UVA doesn’t take a percentage of more applicants from their EA pool than regular
